From Soho, heart of the theatre scene, the stately Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, to Camden and Chelsea, everywhere you look there are reminders of the City's phenomenal history from Dickens to the Swinging Sixties, the Blitz to Punk Rock you'll find it all!

Oxford and Cambridge, the most beautiful student cities of Dreaming Spires, famous the world over for its University and place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and since the 9th century an established town, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years.

Bath and the surrounding area is brimming with things to see and do. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Bath presents some of the finest architectural sights in Europe such as the Royal Crescent, the Circus and Pulteney Bridge alongside a diverse collection of museums and attractions including the Roman Baths, Jane Austen Centre and Thermae Bath Spa. Bath's compact city centre offers irresistible shopping and there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area.

A city of contrasts and exciting discoveries, York is a place where the old encompasses the new and the commonplace meets with the unexpected. Broaden your mind with a visit to world class museums or a variety of festivals held throughout the year catering for all ages and interests.

On the very south-western tip of England lies the beautiful county of Cornwall. It is claimed that King Arthur was born there! Cornwall is blessed with wonderful beaches, outstanding scenery and charming towns, villages and cities. There are many popular resorts, delightful old fishing villages and a coastline which varies from rugged cliffs battered by giant Atlantic waves to gentle areas with sandy coves and river estuaries.

Devon is one of the finest rural English counties. Stunning scenery, with its wild moors, wild ponies, legends galore - thatched villages and small towns, it is also known as 'The Jurassic Coast' due to its heavy fossil content.

The Lake District aptly named after the 16 lakes it comprises offers an amazing landscape for travelling. Inspiration for Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, the lakes are framed by glorious backdrops of mountains, fells, and woodland.
